Katie McNulty inducted into the Love Superhero Hall of Gratitude in July 2018 for her exceptional kindness and goodwill coupled with an incredible work ethic. As the founder of Huddle Up, a cafe at All Souls, a creative community space that inspires, in Bolton, England. Through Huddle Up, Katie’s vision is for social exclusion and loneliness to be a thing of the past and for everyone to feel a sense of belonging. Her unending kindness is apparent in every detail of the cafe from the table arrangements, art, invitations for conversation, prepaid cups of coffee for those who need it, spaces to write, and delicious food. Katie is the kind of person who creates change through her every gesture and conversation. What a treat to be in her presence.

About the Love Superhero Hall of Gratitude
“The plain fact is that the world does not need more successful people, but it does desperately need more peacemakers, healers, restorers, storytellers, and lovers of every kind. It needs people who live well in their places. It needs people of moral courage willing to join the fight to make the world habitable and humane.” David Orr
I deeply admire those who “live well in their places.” The ordinary and the unsung who offer to the world the very best parts of themselves without expectation.
This is a beautiful expression of love in her calm, persistent, generous manner – offering a ripple of change (a metamorphosis) to the world.
Inductees to the Love Superhero Hall of Gratitude are caped in recognition of their contributions to a love-filled world.
