Let yourself be held.

At the close of the recorded dance class when we had finished stretching, she had us lie on the floor. “Let yourself be held by the ground.” Something about the experience of having awkwardly followed a new dance class at home had me connected with my body in a real and tangible way. With the invitation to be held by the floor, I let go. Such a shift. “Let it feel good” she said. I did.

A shift in perception + this opportunity to reflect while physically disconnected I am more aware of how I can choose to feel held. And choose to let it feel good. I am finding it to be a practice, an exploration of awareness, enoughness, and release.
